Samantha Brinkley is an emerging photographer living and working in Rhinebeck, New York. She graduated from SUNY Purchase in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts and a minor in Art History. She was recently an intern at The Center for Photography at Woodstock and Musée Magazine.
Samantha's work ranges from journalism and activism projects to intimate portrayals of changing family dynamics, as well as more traditional street and portrait photography. She's won several awards including "Best In Show" at the Olive Free Library and 2nd Place at Photowork 2021 in Kingston. She has been in several local and international exhibitions, from her hometown to Rome, Italy. Beyond her fine art photography, she is also involved in freelance photojournalism, sports photography, collage work, and she even produced an award-winning documentary in 2016.
Samantha's goal is to continue to work on projects that both help her better understand her own world while working to improve her external world. She is open to any commissions, collaborations, and projects that may come her way.
